An Abalone butterfly alights on a delicate Mother-of-Pearl flower at the sound hole of the Luna Fauna Butterfly acoustic-electric guitar. The butterfly is a powerful symbol of potential, transformation, resurrection, celebration and lightness of being. It reminds people, with grace and eloquence, to embrace and have faith in inevitable changes in their lives. The butterfly unquestioningly embraces the changes of her environment and her body and emerges as a thing of beauty. The butterfly also combines fragility with strength: a tagged Monarch has been verified to have migrated 2,880 miles.

Complementing the design effort is the inclusion of a state-of-the-art B-Band preamp tuner that maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of these fine instruments. The preamp includes a 3-band EQ, phase select, low cut filter with frequency select, as well as Hi and Lo Z outputs.
