Overview
The Loar LH-302 is a fully hollow, extremely lively, single-cutaway archtop with a 1 1/2" body depth and classic 16" lower bout. The Florentine cutaway was a classic 1960 design element added to thin body archtops, allowing greater access to the upper frets. The dual P-90 pickup design covers a full range of tones in either bridge or neck positions - from clean and jazzy to bluesy fuzz.
Thanks to the 1 11/16" nut width and 24 3/4" scale, electric players will feel comfortable from the first note. The maple top, back and sides, and comfortable C-shape mahogany neck provide the ideal foundation for a great-sounding guitar that turns heads with tons of retro style. As players look deeper into history to revive classic designs, the "forgotten vintage" style of these 1960's-influenced instruments are finding their way to stages everywhere.
From smoother acoustic tones to aggressive power chords, The Loar thin body archtops deliver style, elegance and power for players who want true vintage inspiration in an impressive package. The LH-302T thin body archtop with dual P-90s is available in vintage sunburst or cherryburst finishes.

Bought this from zZounds a few weeks ago, just got to use it for a blues/rockabilly gig last night. A couple of things- frets are rough and I need to polish them out, and the nut isn't carved so great so I'll be replacing that- dull on the G-string.
You don't buy a guitar at this price expecting perfect attention to detail.
The good news- love the feel, the pickups are GREAT (I've read other reviews that rated them so-so, but I disagree- really like them), The keys pots and hardware are all quality enough to rely on them at gigs. Very nice neck.
I travel in harsh weather and I work 200+ gigs a year, so I buy guitars I can work to death and replace for a reasonable price if they break or get stolen. This is my second Loar guitar because the first suited that well. I'll tend to the minor issues gladly. I highly recommend this guitar.
Not sure why it's so tough to get a Loar case- had to get a different brand.

You name it. Punk to polka. (okay- I haven't had a hip-hop gig yet)
