"Great quality strap, wider than described"

I love Levy's quality, and this strap is no different. Very thick leather, and padded very well, this should be a comfortable, good-looking strap for many years. Many pros, and the only con I can think of is that this strap is actually 3-1/4" wide. The center strap piece is indeed 2-1/2", but the pad protrudes 3/8" on both sides of the center strap. I won't fault the strap for that, only the description. Sound rating does not apply here, and I did not have to contact customer support about this item.
