This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
i will most likely play a rhoads for the rest of my life
Sound
I own this exact guitar down to the color...I play it with a mesa boogie dual rectifier half stack sounds great live i can get many different tones out of it..the neck is by far the fastest and smoothest neck ive ever played...ive even recorded with it..the guy at the studio wanted me to play his studio guitar and i refused and after we were finished he appoligized and said he was glad i didnt listen to him..I own many many different rhoads guitars and ive never owned or played a badd one..over all by far my favorite kind of guitar
Features
I would say the design of the neck was genious..very smooth and fast..but if i could change anything it would be to put a reverse headstock on it
Ease of Use
very easy to get many different sounds out of it...ive played this guitar through a mesa dual rec a marshall jcm 900 a marshall valvestate and a peavey classic 50 and i had no problem finding great sounds from any of them this guitar is very versitile..with a few knob adjustments its not hard at all for me to find my sound..as for playing like i said the smoothest and fastest ive played
Quality
ive had this guitar for about 5 years maybe six and the only thing ive had to fix is the ground wire but keep in mind i play heavy music and my live show is crazy...jumping..tail whips..just moshing all over the… read more stage..ive banged this guitar all over the place ive broke both points off the body and the point on the head stock and it didnt even fall out of tune
Value
