Overview
The Jackson USA SL1 Soloist electric guitar was born to shred! This American-made neck-through-body beauty starts with a graphite-reinforced quartersawn Eastern hard rock maple neck, topped with a compound-radius bound ebony fretboard. Killer "shark fin" position inlays point the way up and down your 24 frets. The bound headstock boasts die-cast tuners and an inlaid mother-of-pearl Jackson logo.
The US SL1 Soloist's alder body is loaded with three Seymour Duncan pickups: Classic Stacks in the middle and neck positions, and a JB TB4 humbucker in the bridge. A Switchcraft 5-position blade switch lets you get the most out of this versatile H/S/S pickup configuration, while the Floyd Rose Original double-locking two-point tremolo keeps you in tune through those dive-bombs.

Yes folks, the builders of this guitar used to build high end exotic wood furniture.
