Ibanez UKS10 Soprano Ukulele (with Gig Bag)

With a small soprano body size that's comfortable for new players, this elegant ukulele is constructed from high-quality sapele with a natural gloss finish.
The UKS10 not only looks good, but sounds great as well. A Sapele soprano body, mahogany neck, purpleheart bridge and fretboard and open gear chrome tuners keep you sounding good, while the natural low gloss finish gives you a classic look. Coming complete with a gig bag, the UKS10 brings the rich, textured sounds of Hawaii (and more) right to your fingertips. You'll be dancing and dreaming about the beach in no time with this classic ukulele! The sweet-toned, nylon-stringed ukulele originated in the 19th century Hawaii. It gained great popularity in the U.S. during the early 20th century, and from there spread internationally.

"Good quality & value for a beginner"

An inexpensive and good quality product for anyone interested in trying out a ukulele for the first time. My 12 year old daughter and I are having fun learning together. You do have to re-tune regularly, but that is not a big deal for us.
