Your EP5 has an Engelmann-spruce-topped body with mahogany back and sides in a comfortable thin EP shape. An unyielding mahogany neck with ultra-tight action sports a comfortable cultured maple fingerboard of 24 frets with an attractive "Vai" inlay. Your playing is captured through a Fishman Sonicore pickup and pumped through a battery-powered Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp with an onboard tuner.
