Ibanez ASV100FMD Electric Guitar (with Case)

There's something enticing about the look of an older, vintage guitar -- well worn with battle scars, earned throughout its years of hard use. Much like a vintage leather jacket or rare antique furnishings, it immediately feels comfortable and sets a tone unlike anything else, right off the shelf. It's this idea that inspired the Ibanez Artstar Vintage Series.

Lurking beneath its artfully distressed facade and low gloss, aged finish is a sophisticated semi-hollow, made to handle almost any musical challenge imaginable. The ASV100FMD's 3-piece Mahogany/Maple set-in neck features a bound Ebony fretboard with Acrylic/Abalone block inlays, medium frets, and Artstar Fret Edge Treatment for a fast, super smooth feel. For extended tonal flexibility -- two Ibanez Super 58 pickups combined with a Tri-Sound switch for the neck pickup, allow you to select Humbucker in series (traditional), parallel (brighter, single coil type tone w/ lower output and hum cancellation) or coil-tapping for a single coil sound. An ART-1 bridge provides improved sustain and tuning stability.
