Fully hollow-body. Arched top. Artcore set-in neck. Artec Super58 Custom pickups.

The arched top Ibanez AF100 Electric Guitar produces a smooth hefty tone. The AF100 electric guitar is comfortable to play plus it has a unique sound that will thrill your audience. A true full hollow body guitar (no soundblock), the AF100 features ARTEC Super58 Custom humbucking pickups. Bound rosewood fretboard with 22 large frets, bound top, and bound f-holes provide lush looks accented by the pickguard that matches the body and mother-of-pearl/abalone block inlays. Set mahogany neck and chrome hardware.

The AF is one of Ibanez's most traditional full-acoustic lines with a large full-hollow body that's truly full-hollow. Unlike many so-called "full acoustics" that feature soundblocks in the body, all Ibanez full acoustic guitars are completely full-hollow for the rich, complex tones you can only get from a true, full-hollow guitar.

My AF100 was bought used and was in 100% condition. It came with a case two bridges and several sets of strings. I think I know why it came with spare strings. The PO was trying to get more tone out of it.I have over a dozen archtops from top brands so I have a baseline to compare against, and while this one is a beauty and plays well, its sound is just so-so. At ~$1000 it's not cheap but also not too expensive so for players who want to round out their "tone cabinet" in guitars it's a decent choice. As an ONLY archtop to own?, I think if anyone bought the 100/105 it will eventually be replaced by a Gibson or Heritage, or they may go the route of changing PUPs around to try and squeeze more tone / sound from it.
