The ACFS580CE features a specially designed Grand Concert body shape. The body of which is thicker than a regular Artwood Grand Concert instrument, by a thickness of 5mm at the neck joint, through to 9mm at the bridge end. The extra thickness provides a deep bottom end, yet retains a balanced tone. The selected solid Alpine Spruce top and Solid Pau Ferro back & sides provide a sensitive tone and good clarity along with an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs, tight mids and a full-bodied low end. The African Mahogany and Pau Ferro 5pc neck has enough durability for alternative and open tunings.

The neck shape is also specially designed and features a 45mm nut width, comfortable thin neck grip for easy fingering and a round neck heel that allows for easy access to a high fret position.
