Gunstreet has recaptured the sound of '70s PAF humcbuckers in this set, which gives players distinctly rich, tones with a low-mid focus.

After the establishment of uniform winding processes in the 1960s, the PAF's evolution turned to magnets in the 1970s. In addition to the customary Alnico 2 magnet, 70s PAFs can be found in variants featuring A3 and ceramic magnets, to boot.

With the Gunstreet "G-Top" set they aimed for a mid-70s sound with balanced coil winds and the sparkling, glassy, low-mid rich qualities of A3 magnets.
