Gibson Les Paul Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar (with Case)

zZounds Gear Experts Say...
The Gibson Les Paul Parlor blends that Les Paul feel with rich acoustic tone -- sporting a mahogany body, single cutaway, and L.R. Baggs VTC +4 electronics.

Gibson produced its first Les Paul acoustics from 1969 to 1973 in the form of a Jumbo cutaway acoustic guitar, and from 2000 to 2003, the Gibson Custom Shop created a new solid body styled Les Paul Acoustic. For the year 2025, the builders at Gibson have combined the Les Paul's beloved style and appearance in a small body cutaway with the professional performance quality of Gibson's highly acclaimed handmade acoustics from Bozeman, Montana.

Gibson's Les Paul(TM) is one of the all-time great electric guitar designs and has been played by some of the world's most talented and best-loved musicians. With its single-cutaway mahogany body and often flamed maple top, the look of the Les Paul is iconic. In the past, Gibson has produced acoustic versions of the Les Paul; first, from 1969 until 1973, in the form of a Jumbo cutaway model, and from 2000 to 2003, Gibson Custom made a solidbody-style Les Paul Acoustic.

Now, Gibson is proud to introduce the Les Paul Parlor Acoustic. It features a smaller, parlor-sized body that is reminiscent of a scaled-down SJ-200(TM) in overall shape. The back and sides of the Les Paul Parlor Acoustic are made from solid mahogany, while the bookmatched top is supported by traditional scalloped X-bracing and is made from solid AAA flame maple. Both the top and back feature single-ply cream binding. The top is every bit as gorgeous as the bookmatched tops you'll find on many of our electric models, and as with the electrics, the maple adds a bit of bite read more and note definition to the warm tone from the mahogany body. The mahogany neck has a comfortable and fast-playing Advanced Response profile that's neither too beefy nor too slim and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard that has a 12" radius, is equipped with 19 standard frets, and is adorned with pearloid trapezoid inlays. The neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint. The rosewood bridge is installed in a belly-down orientation, and the nut, saddle, and bridge pins are all TUSQ(R). The TUSQ nut and saddle, along with the nickel-plated Grover(R) Rotomatic(R) tuners, help ensure the tuning stays where you set it so you can spend more time playing and less time tuning. The single-ply cream pickguard's shape was inspired by the pickguards used on Les Paul Standard electric guitars and further reinforces the Les Paul aesthetic, as does the mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and gold Les Paul Model decal on the headstock.

The Les Paul Parlor Acoustic comes factory-equipped with an L.R. Baggs(TM) VTC+4 under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with stealthy yet easy-to-access soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, so it's plug-and-play ready from the moment you take it out of the included modern hardshell case. Here's your opportunity to own a high-quality, great-sounding Gibson acoustic guitar that matches the aesthetic of your Gibson Les Paul Standard. It's the perfect pairing and is available now at your local Gibson dealer and at the Gibson Garage.
