"If you play this guitar, you dont need to worry about your playing."
Unless i decide to buy another gibson les paul, i will definitely keep this instrument (if i owned it that is:))
Sound
I find this guitar to have a very nice tone. The nice fat tone you would find in any gibson lespaul is there in this les paul classic guitar too. I play mostly blues, so i think this guitar gives me the perfect sound i'm looking for. The rich tone gives it alot of emotion when playing melodic pieces. Especially in the bridge position. I frequently use the bridge and the middle positions for my playing and i'm extremely satisfies with is. Sometimes i used the rythm position when i'm playing rythm parts with no distortion. I love the mellow sound it gives. Apart from that i think this instrument is excellent for onstage soloing too. And perfect for recording too because of the versatility of the tone. I havent stuck to any effect pedal particularly but i dont think it matters because this guitar really can stand alone. Especially for the blues guitarist. Becuase it really has the voice to speak out the expressions in slow and melodic blues aswell as fast runs thru the finger board. This is the perfect instrument for the blues guitarist!
Quality
This is a very well made instrument. The finish is very nice with the gold mother of pearl inlaying. Has a binding to protect the wood from bruises. The finish is very authentic especially onstage when i'm playing blues or soloing. Perfect for a well dressed formal… read more occassion or a topless performace with a cigarette in ur mouth. I usually do keep a backup no matter what the guitar i'm playing but i've never used the backup any any of the occassions i've played this instrument. I think when u become familiar with this instrument ur fears of breaking anything would simply fade away. and it seems like it will last long enough to give my great great grand son for his 12th birth day
Value
fair price to pay for an excellent instrument
