Overview

The newly designed Gibson 2019 ES-275 Figured Thinline Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar is a unique take on one of our most iconic silhouettes, the Gibson jazz box. Featuring a thermally engineered chambered maple centerblock and thermally engineered quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing, this guitar offers lightweight semi-hollowbody characteristics in a timeless archtop package. The Dark Rosewood fingerboard and Rounded "C" neck profile provide a comfortable feel with easy access to all 22 frets. Armed with Memphis Historic Spec II (MHS II) pickups and the Memphis Tone Control Premiere (MTC Premiere) wiring assembly, the tonal possibilities are truly limitless. AAA figured maple veneers are dressed in either Cherry Cola, Sunrise Orange, Montreux Burst, or Sixties Cherry finishes.

I've had many high end guitars .. collings,Santa cruz,bourgeois and gibson..I don't know if it's because of Gibson's new CEO (a guitar player)and a rejuvenated work force ,but this is the sweetest guitar I've ever owned..Everything from fit,finish,playability and sound is absolutely stellar..i had a 2017 es 355vos and es335 and have sold both..i really can't even find time to play my acoustics anymore..This es 275 does everything from blues,jazz,soft rock etc. BUY one and you will probably sell the rest of your guitars like I did.!!
