The Gibson Skunk Baxter Firebird is a distinct signature guitar with some exciting tonal possibilities. Designed in conjunction with Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers guitarist Jeff Baxter, this axe offers classic Firebird tone as well as some unique tones plus some head-turning looks.

- 'Skunk Baxter' pickups with independent on/off and full/split coil switching for each
- Tune-o-matic bridge and the Lyre vibrato tailpiece
- Steinberger gearless tuners
