This characteristic twist of fate is embodied in the Jazzmaster itself, with its revolutionary offset waist, newly designed tremolo system and new pickups with a unique wiring and switching system -- a significant departure from Teles and Strats. Celebrating innovation while honoring a time-tested classic, Fender Custom Shop finishes this guitar with a Journeyman Relic lacquer coating with the scars of a treasured guitar, played for decades.

Melding original Jazzmaster tone with modern feel, the 50's Journeyman Relic is based on a two-piece select ash body and tinted maple riftsawn neck with a '57 Soft V-shaped neck profile -- along with modern player features like the stable, intonatable RSD Jazzmaster bridge and 9.5"-radius fingerboard.
