Overview

The Offset Telecaster originally debuted in the Fender Custom Shop and has since become a fan favorite. The combination of a Jazzmaster body with Telecaster neck and hardware is a match made in heaven for many players. This new Japanese-made Fender Limited Edition Mahogany Offset Telecasters features an all-mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style Tele bridge pickup and a soapbar rhythm pickup.

Its super comfortable to play. Responds to eq well. Can get that tele twang. Not like ash or even alder but its there.I ran through several amps and floorboards. It liked some loved others and was eh on a few. Bottom line you will find lots of usable tones.Mine is super light. I like gits with girth but this one resonates well and like i said gets usable tones. I had to look for them but they are there and once found you will dig it. I did a 3 hour jamathon just tonight with some distortion,chorus and reverb/delay. It was a blast. Then and before lots of clean and twangy runs that had me grinnin' like a chesire.But dont sweat the clean tones were there in spades. It loves fender clean tones (duh right)and vox cleans. Tube and ss amps were both on tap and usable in a big way. It took pedals well too. The neck feels very narrow to me so i have to watch my high bends. It does however lend itself well to finger and hybrid picking. If you are smaller handed you will fall in love with this git.Usual high quality japanese construction and great good looks coupled with ZZOUNDS great service and you are in to win. Thanks Andrew.
