First the bad: Tolex is cheap. Not thick and spongy like a Mesa Boogie or even my Orange Rocker combo. You can see the seam was not evenly cut. Does it affect sound?Nope! Every screw on the amp was loose. When I went to remove the footswitch the back panel almost came off! I hand tightened all screws and it’s all good now.The good: Great tone!Really heavy bass amp(which I love)I had to back it off to 3 bass and treble ,middle and presence at about noon. Its very loud! Not a Marshall 100 watt stack loud but at 4 it’s too loud for bedroom volume and crystal clean with no breakup at all.The drive is good.Much better than the older Hot Rods.(Think Doobie Brothers China Grove) It also handles pedals very well.Looks like a solid high quality footswitch and the reverb is excellent! All in all a great value for a solid gigging amp.Gave it a 4 because of the Tolex and the QC but I’m being picky.Has that great Fender clean sound with nice bight from the Celestion speaker at a real good price! Don’t know how well the Tolex or grill will age but probably better than I will.Great value and sound .You should talk the wife into getting one...now!
