"Spend your money on pickups not a "Made in USA" label"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If something ever happened to this I'd replace it immediately. It played great right out of the box and seems to sound better each time I pick it up. I've had it for a month and can't wait to gig with it.

Sound
Neck Pickup is noisy at full volume. As I very rarely play at full volume, this is not an issue demanding immediate attention. I will probably invest in premium pickups and a humbucker for the bridge at some point. I have played strats from $175 to $3000, this one will stack up against any American Standard I've ever played.

Features
Standard strat whammy bar, switch and knobs

Ease of Use
I love the medium jumbo frets. I also have a Les Paul, and quite franky this is much easier to play. This characteristic is not peculiar to this model, but rather to strats in general

Quality
The satin finish on mine is flawless. I would caution anyone buying the Midnight Blue color...its PURPLE not blue, purple. I was warned by the salesman on the phone when I ordered, since I really like purple anyway, it was great for me.

Value
Don't watse your money on the "Made in America" tag. Spend the difference on new pickups or some other accessory. If you can't deal with the made in Mexico tag on the headstock, sandpaper it off. I would challenge anyone to take "Pepsi challenge" and distinguish this guitar from its American counterpart. read more

Manufacturer Support
Called because I though guitar was shipped incomplete, call was answered promptly and problem solved. (pieces had been stuffed into pocket of included gig bag)

The Wow Factor
Girls seem to love the satin finish. Its like a magnet. Pull this out of the case and you'll draw a crowd...guarenteed.

Musical Background:
amateur musician (gig occassionally not in steady band)
