It's ready to serve your musical vision, it's versatile enough to handle any style of music and it's the perfect platform for creating your own sound.

Respecting our heritage while maintaining our innovative spirit, the Player Series humbucking bridge pickup sounds huge and warm, while the Player Series single-coil middle and neck pickups are crisp and articulate -- it's authentic Fender tone with a modern edge. The "Modern C"-shaped maple neck's comfortable contours and smooth finish are ideal for almost any playing style. By adding a 22nd medium jumbo fret to the contemporary 12"-radius fingerboard we've made it easier to express yourself musically. The Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo system keeps your guitar in tune, no matter how extreme your whammy work. Other features include master volume and tone controls, a 5-way pickup switch, 3-ply pickguard, synthetic bone nut, dual-wing string tree, sealed tuning machines and four-bolt "F"-stamped neck plate that marks this instrument as the real deal -- as Fender as it gets.

I bought the white model. It came to me set up and in tune! Ready to play right out of the box. I plugged into my Peavey Vyper 2, which I also bought from zZounds and cued up my full frontal metal setting and this Strat turned into a metal giant. Every pickup setting is very useful. You get your tried and true classic Fender twang and snap single coil sounds and with the bridge humbucker it's a metal massacre! The pickups are top notch. I always drop a Seymour Duncan TB 6 in the bridge, but I'm not in any hurry to swap it out. Sounds awesome enough as is. The Floyd on mine is slick. I dive bombed it hard and it stays in tune. Flawless. This is also a first for me. No adjustments necessary. The neck is freaking awesome. Fender must have used the Charvel neck shape or very close to it. It feels the same as most MIM Strat necks, but a bit flatter. The fretboard feels slick and silly. I love these MIM guitars. They are done right by people who get payed fair American wages in a country where $20 is enough for somebody to live on for a week. Build quality is flawless. The white w black pick guard w white pick ups is awesome. It's different, but a very good different. This guitar can pull off any style of music.
