I'm mostly an electric guitar player. Been playing for fifty years. Also have a lot of experience as a session player in MY studio and other studios. Just purchased a Fender Sonoran SCE, in Lake Placid Blue, from zZounds. I am surprised and very pleased with it. Having previously owned Seagull and Martin acoustic electrics I know what a quality guitar sounds like. I wanted a guitar that was easier to play and one that I wouldn't mind playing outside, at the beach or around a campfire. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and after researching just about everything, I chose the Fender Sonoran SCE. It's a wonderful guitar for small money. The neck feels very Strat like. Really easy to play. The tone of the guitar is rich and clear. The Fishman pickup is great. The built in tuner works well and the guitar stays in tune quite well. The fit and finish is excellent and the Lake Placid Blue is beautiful. For this electric guitar player, The Fender Sonoran SCE is a joy to play. zZounds customer service is second to none. Purchased the guitar on Friday. It was delivered to me in perfect condition on Tuesday. Now, who is having a bonfire this Fall. I'm ready to play some acoustic Rock.
