I think this is one of the best Tele's in my stable now. Great neck,(a little crooked, had to adjust). The finish is perfect, no visible lines where slab boards are glued together. Chrome knobs are a little too tall with flatish heads, minor thing though. Tuners are solid and above their usual quality, maybe more like early players and stay in tune. Action needed nothing except a tiny truss rod turn to make that fretboard play like a well-broken-in pair of wranglers! The color/tint on the neck is almost exactly the same color as a summer teen, natures queen. The pickups are strong and fit my Blues Jr well. It keeps up with my Mod. Tele quite well. The box inside a box was super strong and the guitar was well protected. Overall, I give it 5 Stars because It's better than expected. I think Fender hit a homer on this one. Btw, I've owned several American Tele's and Strats. Right now, I have the Player II Strat, Hialeah Yellow and the Player II Modified Tele, Sunshine Yellow.
