I like the quality coming out of the Japanese factories. I own a JV modv50svtele also. The Aerodyne easily competes with more expensive American strats. Plus it's hard to get the flatter neck radius. Paint and frets are flawless. The pickup wind is great, very quacky with balls at the bridge. The humbucjer doesn't split the coils FYI. I'm not in love with the bridge although they got the bar angle perfect. It's pitched up instead of straight across. I had problems with the cam saddles so after messing around trying to get a setup that worked for me I just replaced them with graphtech saddles 2 1/16. Listen you may love the saddles, I did not. I found the graphtech saddles just opened the sound of this instrument right up. It took me from really liking the guitar to loving the guitar. It comes with a gig bag, not a case so I bought one. Boo hiss gig bag bad. OK. It's high quality but unless you commute in NYC on the subway or buses ill take the hard case every time. Listen for $1300.00ish it's a steal. I got her in Dolphin grey because I play with Porpoise. I'll be here all week.
