Long have I lusted for an early 70's Fender Jaguar with this exact color with a maple neck, and block inlays. I don't have 15 grand to drop on an original. Getting this beauty at a fraction of that cost is a dream come true. At first the high price for a made in Mexico instrument had me leery. After watching several youtube reviews I took the plunge; knowing I could always get a refund if it sucked. The guitar did not suck. This guitar far exceeded my expectations for build quality. Flawless. Perfect. Fretwork and neck? Smooth as silk. Tuners and tuning stability, even with the trem bar in use? Rock solid. (it did take 2 days for the Jaguar to "settle down" with some playing and string stretching) A lovely and vast array of tones. Sounds great clean or loaded up with fx. This guitar slays with distortion, sounds so nasty Clean tones are crystalline and shimmery with a bit of subtle bite. The pickups are a bit noisy but it's to be expected and as long as you keep your hand on the instrument it is quiet. Oh this kitty roars and purrs.I'm in love. So much so I also had to get the Fender Vintera II 70's Mustang. (another banger)Amazingly well made guitar. Exceptional quality!!! So very pleased.Highly recommend.
