This guitar is absolutely stellar. The 27" scale deepens and enriches the incredibly resonant qualities of this instrument, and the stock pickups sound surprisingly clear and articulate, yet get the proper distortion going, and they will get downright gnarly, delivering thick, beefy power chords that move major air. The coil tap gets some downright beautiful clean tones that would do Buddy Holly proud, and in normal dual-coil mode, the clean tone is lush and chimey, begging to be run through a bit of chorus and delay for some ambient fun. The build quality is amazing to the point that it was noticeable within seconds of removing it from the box. If the same box has arrived at your door, you are in for a scenic ride with this guitar...buckle up!
