Mine came in a beautiful vintage sunburst finish.Quality: Build quality is up there with the best custom guitars I've ever played. Playability is phenomenal up to about the 18th fret (then it becomes a serious finger stretching activity). But, hey, this is a classic instrument, not a modern shred machine - keep that in mind.Sound: P90s on a hollow body produce a unique and recognizable sound. You can play with feedback or dial back the volume for clean jazz or brilliant blues. I pair mine with an AC30 for instant one-of-a-kind British Invasion chime. Kick on the overdrive and the pickups snarl. An unmistakable, great sound! Value: For me, it's worth the investment. I've long wanted a USA Casino. This outperforms the Chinese or Korean models, and even handily beats the Japanese Elitists (which I've also owned) and it carries an undeniable "cool" factor on stage. Beyond its popularity from past use by the Beatles, the Stones, and Gary Clark Jr., the Casino is just one of the coolest guitars ever made. If I had to sell all of my guitars just to survive, this one would be the last to go.
