"Epiphone SG Standard"
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I’m a long time Gibson user, but thought I’d try the Epiphone SG after reading good things about the new models. Really like the dark green color, but have to say the quality on the fret work is poor. Over half the frets had sharp ends. I needed to purchase a fret file kit to clean them up before I could play it. It was that bad. I’m guessing zZounds doesnt check the guitars before they go out. I’ll remember that when it’s time for my next purchase.
Musical Background:
Played guitar for 55+ years

Rock, jazz
