The DW Collector's Series feature a Specialized Shell Configuration (SSC). DW layers plies cut to different grain orientations -- horizontal, vertical, and diagonal (X-shell) -- to lower the fundamental pitch of shells, maximize resonance, and produce a complete instrument.
