DigiTech MonoNeon Signature Whammy Pedal
Updated March 17, 2026 15:14 by Justin LaForte
Hey everybody, this is Justin at zZounds and these are some things to know about the DigiTech MonoNeon Whammy. As you can see, this Whammy has a couple differences from the regular one, mostly the finish, which is also blacklight sensitive, which is a cool thing to know about it. But the biggest thing is that it added a hypersonic mode, which is a three-octave-up setting that is not found on the regular Whammy, so you can get into dog-whistle territories even on bass frequencies. This also is usable for guitar and bass, which is cool. Another thing that he wanted to add was this octave mode. These octave modes allow you to do octaves up or down, which also wasn’t found on the other one as easily, so that’s a cool feature to know. And then finally, the detune mode. The detune mode he said he wanted to make more usable, so it’s a more chorus-like, slower-shifting detune instead of a more harsh, deep detune. So it’s a little bit more usable and sounds like a chorus. Those are a few cool things to know about the DigiTech MonoNeon Whammy.

Had this over 3 months now and it's amazing with other crazy pedals. I'm an experimental musician for sure and this is a must for serious sound. Heavy duty, it feels roadworthy.
