As a full-sized head, the GX2200H produces 220 watts RMS and features Crate's patented FlexWave tube simulating preamp and award winning engineering. This head includes 3-channel operation for a triad of extreme tone opportunities, as well as reverb and an effects loop.

Producing a massive 220 watts, the GX2200H towers as Crate's most powerful amplifier head. For certain force (perhaps hearing damage) and unmatched tone, professional players use this amp to drive their largest audiences.

Sound
This thing is LOUD! i have a band that plays out all the time, and i dont need to turn my volume above 3. its one serious piece of equipment. i have 2 stacks under it, so its powering 8 12" speakers. You really can get that full sound. Its perfect for any type of music. I play hardcore/metal ands awesome for that. its clean channels are crystal clean, and some reverb and its even better. With my old amp i need a distortion pedal... the overdrive on this amp completley eliminates the need for one. its an awesome amp.
Features
I use a GRX20z and a BC.Rich Warlock. both sound great in it. i dont use distortion pedals anymore.. no need for them with this amps overdrive channel.
