Catalinbread has conquered the high-gain Marshall amp-in-a-box some time ago, and now their Clean Little Secret takes the classic low-gain Marshall BB formula and gives it a much needed refinement. They've beefed up everything from the classic amp enhancer, from the tone stack to the output stage and more, giving you just the right amount of kick. A completely overhauled tone section gives you individual control over treble and bass bands as opposed to a global tone knob, and they've added some more bells and whistles to push the unity volume level up quite a bit. Their designer's favorite op-amp keeps the action whistle-clean until you push the gain, giving you delicious edge-of-breakup tones at the end of the dial, but subdued always-on enhancement tones at any other position. Some secrets are better left unkept!

CONTROLS:
- MASTER: Down is down, up is up.
- TREBLE: Counter-clockwise: less. Clockwise: more.
- BASS: Turning it down gives you less, turning up gives you more.

EQ Controls Are Highly Interactive: Turning up both gives a mid scoop while turning both down gives a mids boost. Adjust your volume knob accordingly to take advantage of this!

Pre-Amp: You will get varying degrees of low-gain sparkle until you turn it past 1-2 o'clock or so, then the overdrive comes out and gets hairier from there. The gain tops out at what one might call low-to-medium, so don't be afraid to really juice it up.

The current draw is extremely low, any power supply that fits the above specifications will perform admirably. Don't use any other type of power supply (AC, higher voltage, center-positive) or you run the risk of ruining your pedal and quite possibly rendering it useless. There's nothing clean about that! Check your supply!
