Okay so it's a dual klon circuit and does exactly what you would expect a good klon circuit to do, which is a great boost with gain off, low gain on the other side, and mid gain when both sides are on. It has a very open sound that adds depth and character and "largeness" to your sound, which some describe as bloom. What caught me off guard the most however was the tones with the gain turned up past 2. Past 2 with tone up gets you some killer Kings Of Leon tones which is essentially vox/matchless territory. I suppose this shouldn't be too much of a surprise seeing as Bad Cat makes vox inspired amps, but it was a welcome surprise. The harmonics with the gain higher are unreal, especially when using a good plate reverb to accentuate those harmonics. Overall it's a great take on a klon. There is a lot of natural bloom to the notes which make your guitar tone sound bigger and the harmonics with gain up are seriously really great.
