Tube mic that operates on phantom power! Cardioid condenser.
Overview
The AT3060 phantom-powered Tube Microphone represents groundbreaking developments in tube microphone technology, as AudioTechnica once again breaks the price-for-performance barrier. As the AT3060 it doesn't require a separate power supply and cable, it is as easy to set up and use as a standard condenser mic. The AT3060 delivers warm, classic tones, high sensitivity and smooth sound with low noise. The tube itself is hand selected and aged to maintain peak performance, and is shock-mounted to dampen mechanically induced vibration.
Features:
Warm classic tube sound
No dedicated power supply or special cable needed; operates exclusively on 48V DC phantom power
Large-diaphragm cardioid condenser element provides high sensitivity and smooth sound reproduction with low noise levels
Hand-selected tubes are individually tested and aged to maintain peak performance
Shock-mounted tube assembly dampens mechanically-coupled vibrations
Precision-machined, nickel-plated brass, acoustic element baffle provides enhanced element stability and optimal sensitivity
Large coupling transformer provides superior low-frequency linearity
State-of-the-art design and manufacturing techniques ensure compliance with A-T's stringent consistency and reliability standards
Includes AT8458 shock mount and protective pouch
