Overview

The F50S embodies a tight and uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern which assists in isolating the vocals from the instruments on stage. The F50S comes with a noiseless, magnetic on/off switch. Its warm, natural sound reproduction, resistance to feedback and ability to handle high SPLs without distortion allows the F50 to be utilized in a variety of live and studio applications. The f50 is an entry level, all purpose vocal microphone for small to midsize PA systems.

In my opinion this microphone will hold it's against the Shure SM58 easily. It is just as rugged and delivers at least as good a response. It would be hard to live off the difference. It actually sounded pretty good compared to the Shure Baeta 58. Definetly worthy of the already excellent price. Hats off to Audix.
