I have only begun "re-learning" electric bass playing. This amp is perfect for practice and will be suitable for "small room" playing or for performing in a relatively small area. I have always been an admirer of Ampeg and believe this amp will serve me well. It is a great value for the price.
Sound
Both my son and I have played on this amp and really like it. It has a very clear, crisp sound and is easy to handle. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive, "small room" amplifier.
Quality
I owned an Ampeg bass amp many, many years ago. It was virtually indestructible. I feel that this amp is built with the same quality.
