The T5V is a nearfield, professional active loudspeaker designed to welcome a new generation of producers, musicians, songwriters, content creators and music lovers to the ADAM Audio ecosystem. With its streamlined feature set, it can effortlessly serve numerous use-cases. Be it small studios, home listening, or compact immersive rigs, the versatile T5V brings exquisitely balanced audio to a whole host of listening situations and music creation environments.

The T5V features specially developed 5" polypropylene woofers, linked to a ferrite magnet system driven by 50 Watt Class D amplification. The hand-folded U-ART high frequency driver crosses over at 3kHz and is coupled with a 20 Watt class D amplifier. This design offers the T5V a combination of clean power handling, solid headroom for precise nearfield listening applications, excellent low-distortion output as well as highly efficient thermal dynamics.

The T5V centres around ADAM Audio's industry-leading air motion transformer (AMT) tweeter design, referred to as ART or "Accelerated Ribbon Technology". The compact 1.9" U-ART tweeter has been developed so users can enjoy the same precise and unfatiguing high-frequency reproduction that ADAM Audio's flagship monitoring systems are known for.

This includes balanced XLR inputs for connection to audio interfaces and other studio equipment, plus unbalanced RCA inputs for connecting to other devices.

Beyond useful connections, the T Series offers several other convenient functions on the back panel. High and low frequency shelves are controlled via two manual switches, each offering 0dB and +/- 2 dB. In addition, there are mechanical controls for gain, input select and mains power switching.

Precision Polypropylene Woofers

The T Series utilizes custom-designed polypropylene woofers with rigid and highly responsive performance characteristics. The drivers offer lightweight construction and high cone stiffness with long-throw surrounds and a fully optimised design including bespoke geometry and various demodulation measures. This all delivers stunningly accurate, clean and well-controlled low end.

U-Art Tweeter

Drawing on more than two decades of pedigree in AMT tweeter design, each U-ART utilises the same painstaking hand-folded production processes as ADAM's other product ranges. Meticulous attention to detail and rigorous quality control throughout ensure that every unit is engineered to the highest possible standards. The finished tweeters are then mounted into the solid ABS front baffles and driven by 50 Watt PWM Class D amplifiers for optimal sound quality and thermal handling.

HPS Waveguide geometry

As with ADAM Audio's flagship S Series range, all T Series monitors make use of the same proprietary HPS, "High-frequency Propagation System". This trickle-down technology enables the T Series to offer similar tonal presentation to ADAM's high-end products, with the wide, open and highly detailed sound stage ADAM monitors are renowned for. For users this means exceptional clarity, superb directivity, and effortless high frequency presentation.

Solid cabinet construction

The T Series was designed to offer the most solid, dependable and accurate platform for audio reproduction. This is evidenced by the robust, resonance-free cabinet construction using braced MDF and ABS, as well as the carefully chosen materials which combine to deliver the T5V's premium look and feel. The design language is consistent with the brand's utilitarian approach which employs bevelled edges to reduce edge diffractions from the front baffle.

Room adaptation acoustic controls

The backplate provides users with a simple and intuitive means to tune the loudspeaker's output according to the user's environment and/or taste. The DSP-driven HF and LF trim switches allow users to adjust bass and treble output (5kHz) depending on where the speakers are placed, the level of room treatment available as well as the desired sound signature. All of this can be done without measurements or software, ideal for first-time users or those who are short on time and looking for a quick and simple solution.

Balanced and Unbalanced Analogue Inputs

The T5V features both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA line inputs, allowing a broad range of analogue connections across professional and consumer devices.
