What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Schecter Sunset Strip and Pasadena pickups Perfect for hard rock; rich, complementing tones
Ebony fretboard Dark color, tight grain; premium fretboard wood
Stainless steel frets Increased strength and material integrity
Wenge neck Smooth feel with a midrange bite

Channel your inner shredder with the Sun Valley Super Shredder Exotic, an alluring take on a throwback guitar with modern playability! Stainless steel appointments mean resistance to corrosion while rippin' it up on stage, and with its exquisite Black Limba body, you'll be sure to steal the spotlight. The neck is constructed from Wenge and has been shaped to an ultra-thin profile for high velocity soloing and the neck joint is specially contoured to allow easy access to the upper frets. A 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard is outfitted with 24 extra-jumbo frets that will facilitate effortless string bending. The 25.5" scale neck gives the perfect amount of string tension to accommodate lower tunings.

The SVSS Exotic boasts a full range of tonal possibilities, courtesy of a unique pairing of humbuckers. A Schecter Sunset Strip sits in the bridge position and delivers a modern tone that has an aggressive, balanced punch when driven, but also clear and mellow mids and highs when needed and will cut through in any setting. The Pasadena Classic in the neck position produces rich, beautiful "PAF" tones. This versatile rock machine will take you on a sonic journey from Beale Street to the Sunset Strip!

The simplified controls feature master volume and master tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector. Rounding out the black hardware is a set of Schecter locking tuners and a Hipshot Ibby bridge that will stabilize tuning and can withstand anything you can dish out.

Too many issues for a 1300 guitar. Poor unlevel and sharp frets, with a horribly cut nut.
Sound
Pickup are OK at best. I was expecting better for USA pickups. The ceramic pickup just had no articulation. Not very hot, at least not compared to my JB in my LP
Features
The frets were sharp, very sharp. Had to take it to a shop to fix, and once there, they found a host of issues. The neck wouldnt stop moving, truss rod faulty, and the nut was cut too wide. It couldnt be saved without another 400 worth of work.
Ease of Use
Returned it. First time trying this brand, and it was horrible.
