The UAD-1 Ultra PAK is designed for the most demanding DAW professional who needs premium sonic quality for mixing and mastering applications and wants the largest and best-value UA plug collection in one convenient bundle. The Ultra PAK includes the award-winning UAD-1 DSP card plus a complete suite of 24 powered plug-ins including all the classic UA vintage emulations.

UA uses unique proprietary circuit modeling techniques to capture every subtle nuance of analog studio mainstays such as the 1176LN, LA-2A, Pultec EQP-1A, and Fairchild 670. The UAD-1 also offers innovative "UA Original" plug-ins to enhance your productions including the Cambridge EQ, Nigel Guitar Processor, Channel Strip, RealVerb, DreamVerb and the highly-prized Plate 140. Ultra PAK also delivers the Precision Limiter and Precision Equalizer from the Precision Mastering Series which have been rigorously engineered and studio-tested to reach a sonic class only shared with the very best analog and digital hardware units.

* 256 MB of RAM (512 MB is strongly recommended)
* Available PCI or PCI-X slot for each UAD-1 card
* 1024 x 768 or higher resolution monitor
* CD drive or internet connection for software installation
* An AGP or PCI Express graphics video adapter (PCI graphics is not supported)
* Internet connection required for registration and obtaining optional plugins
* Additional platform-specific requirements are listed below

Windows platform:
* Microsoft Windows XP (Home, Pro, or x64 Edition), Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, or Windows Vista
* VST compatible host application software, such as Steinberg Cubase or Nuendo

Mac OS X platform:
* Mac OS X version 10.4.0 or higher
* VST version requires VST compatible host software, such as Steinberg Cubase or Nuendo
* Audio Units version requires AU compatible host software, such as Apple Logic Pro or MOTU Digital Performer
* Processor upgrade cards are not officially supported

Discontinued platforms:
* Mac OS 10.3.9 "Panther" runs with UAD version 4.5.1 and below
* Mac OS 10.3.0 - 10.3.8 "Panther" runs with UAD version 4.2.0 and below
