The new Hello Kitty Series from Squier; a purr-fect pairing of 2 'lifestyle' brands with a long history of bringing the gift of music to a younger generation. Features include the face of Hello Kitty appearing on a custom pickguard (front), Hello Kitty logo graphic (back), and a single humbucking pickup with single volume control - simplicity of design and functionality!

Squier has taken the Affinity Series Strat platform and added a custom Hello Kitty pickguard and graphics, smooth, easy playing Maple neck, pink dot markers (pink version only), fixed non-tremolo bridge, single humbucking pickup, and a single control for volume.

Why are they building them?
To provide products that will inspire young females whom traditionally may not have been exposed to, or chose to use, an electric instrument as their individual tool of expression.

This is NOT a bad guitar. Some macho types put it down, but the neck is actually pretty good & the humbucker ain't so bad either. Think of it as a pink Tom Delonge model Plug it into a real amp and it screams WAY better than the usual Squier. I wouldn't pay more than $200 used for it, but I'll bet this will be a collectible. Oh yeh, macho guys: Chicks DIG this guitar! don't forget to get the matching strap (and VERY hard to find) gig bag, LOL!
