"Satisfied Owner"

Feature:
This guitar played great out of the box. There was no need to upgrade any of the parts. The only problem, and the reason I gave it a 9, is because maybe this guitar is just a little too black. I mean, everything is black. IT'S BLACKER THAN BLACK. I think the pots may require replacement sometime down the line, push pots get loose and worn with use. But for now they are fine.

Quality:
This is a very solidly build guitar. I am a picky dude and this guitar is just fine the way it is.

Value:
Man, this guitar is a tremendous bargain. Same price as the Tempest Custom but with real Duncans? Super deal.

Desirability:
I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Sound:
I was afraid the JB would be a little too hot for me. I like classic tones. This guitar is very versatile, and it sounds awesome. The JB is really nice. It'll break up and you can squeeze excellent harmonics out of it, but it also does an excellent job on tight, Fender type stuff. The '59 is meaty and just nasty. I have been playing leads in the neck position and it roars.

Ease of Use:
Played great right out of the box, I haven't had to do anything to it. The setup is even great. It's almost confusing not to have to start ripping parts off of it.

Support:
Not applicable

Overall:
I was surprised at just how versatile this guitar was. And yet, the tones aren't just versatile, they are awesome. This is a rocking piece of equipment and you would be a fool to pass up this deal.

"Very Pleased With This New Ax"

Feature:
I like a guitar that has flexible pickup control as in two knobs for front pickups and two knobs to the back. That is how this one is set up.

Quality:
The guitar is so well made its hard to believe the price is so reasonable.

Value:
This instrument plays like a $3000.00 guitar.

Desirability:
I don't care about the sex the apeal of a guitar. I am a 59 year old man that has been playing since 1964. One of the reasons I bought it is that it doesn't look so awfully silly.

Sound:
The sound is actually better than I expected. I am very glad I bought this guitar. It is the first guitar that I have played in a long time where the intonation was exact, without me having to mess with it. I like this guitar better than than any of the American made guitars being offered currently. The sustain is very good.

Ease of Use:
The action on the neck suits my hand. Action is a personal thing but I think a lot of people will like the neck on this guitar. The frets are perfect.

Support:
No

Overall:
This one is a keeper. My kids will inherit it. I bought it as a backup to my vintage guitar, but I am going to retire the old one and play this one.
