Using the Servo 550 in the bridged mono mode is a great way to power a separate subwoofer system as an enhancement to your overall sound. The 550 also shines in other live sound reinforcement uses, monitoring, and dedicated recording applications like powering near and midfield monitors and passive headphone distribution systems. Audio/Video installers appreciate the 550's versatility, quiet performance, and reliability for distributed sound, clubs, restaurants, and home theater settings.

Sound: Good full range even sound from 40-16000hz. Feature: Wish it had Speakon. No fan makes it very quiet. Make sure you have good ventilation in the back of it. On road I use it to power highs in top cabinets. At home it powers my workshop peavey 15's loud and clear. Ease of Use: it's an amp. Quality: 0 issues with this or any other samson products I have. eq/comp/x-over/S1000/s2000. Except for the S1500 I blew up. Customers fault. Told me I was on 2 seperate feeds. Only one. Blew up amp, one sub and welded the fuse inside the panel box! Value: Other than not being capable of 4ohms bridged mono, everything you'd expect in a torridal transformer amp. Manufacturer Support: Never used it. The Wow Factor: I guess, I own it. Overall: Never let me down over 2000hrs of playing time. More than crown or peavey can say.

"A Great Monitor power amp."

Sound: I use this amp for live monitors, and it works great for powering 2 monitors at the same time. I especially love the convection cooling. No fan noise. Feature: Pretty basic, 1/4 in jacks, and Bananna jacks, Mono bridged, or stereo operation, and Clip light with protection. Quality: Made well, but not in the USA!!! Value: Cheap quiet decient power amp all you can ask for about $300 Manufacturer Support: Never had to The Wow Factor: Normal Amp
