The Escort 2000's easy to use, easy to carry design makes it a perfect choice for schools, churches, civic organizations and small music groups. The Escort features 2, 2-way speakers and a 5-channel, 150-watt stereo mixer amplifier, making it well suited for both voice and music. The mixer amplifier has professional features like its 60mm faders, graphic equalizer with FLS®, and digital reverb, but it is still easy for anyone to set up and operate. The system also includes a PVi cardioid, dynamic microphone, cables, a strong steel mixer stand for ideal operating position, and 2 folding speaker stands. The Escort's integrated design makes transporting the system a breeze with a package that can be easily carried or pulled along on its luggage-style wheels. Its design even houses the speaker stands with room left over for additional mics and cables. The Escort 2000 raises portable sound to a new level.

Sound: i own an escort 2000 i have had it for about 2 years now. as far a sound quality unbeatable for its size. extremely clear and talk about alot of power comming from 2 small speakers Feature: i find the most useful features is its patented FLS system i have never had a feedback problem and i have plugged several microphones and guitars into it for small gatherings and band practices Ease of Use: its extremely portable wow it easily fits in the trunk or your car. its lightweight and the manuel when you get it tells you what to do as far as how to get the best sound out of it Quality: as for quality i had an experience with mine when i first started djing i used the escort 2000 as monitors by linking it to my big mixer. well i went away from the table for a second and some drunk guy spilled his beer all over the system. amazingly enough. it was so durable that all it needed was a cleaning nothing else..didnt short out any of the components.. whats are the odds? talk about quality Manufacturer Support: i havent had to call the company the cleaning that as done was done locally Overall: Great product

"Passport 2000 is THE passport to quality audio in small rooms and rehearsals with quick and easy setups."

Sound: Clear highs and impressive low ends. FLS is some of the best features that Peavey has put into most of their systems. Feature: Feedback Limiting System, PVi mike, and all-in-one suitcase, interlocking package! . Quality: Excellent, rugged construction and ease of transport with the two rollerblade type of wheels. Value: For the money this PA is one of the best in it's class. Definately beats the Fender Passport 150's. Now, if Peavey only made and 250 watt system... Manufacturer Support: Never had to deal with them... products always worked good as long as I've owned them. The Wow Factor: Would like to see the PA "head" be more easily removed, it's held down with several screws into the plastic case. I would also like to see the speaker stands go a few more inches higher, they are about 4.5 feet high. They are the right height for a seated audience and if you were on a stage, would be high enough for a standing one. The mic and speaker cables could be 5 more feet longer as well, just a hair short. Still over all will work in most settings. Overall: Problably for a few years. This PA is going to (and already has been) used for a monthy meeting that has live music and speakers. I will also use this for rehearsals with a small 3 piece band.

Style of Music: Contemporary Christian, folk, rock, jazz and classical styles appreciated.
