The Jeff Ocheltree carbon steel snare drums feature black chrome die cast hoops, easy throw off, shock mounted tube lugs in a black chrome finish. The carbon steel shell is extremely heavy and has thick black chrome plating. The carbon steel shell also features carefully machined bearing edges and die cast hoops that set this drum apart from any on the market today. The unique properties of the carbon steel create an incredibly versatile drum that's as loud as you could hope for, with articulation that would inspire seasoned jazz veterans.
