Drum Workshop DW9000 Single Bass Drum Pedal

Get a smoother, more precise playing experience with this Drum Workshop kick pedal. Their patented technology eliminates friction and increases response.

The Drum Workshop DW9000 Single Bass Drum Pedal has patented features like the free-floating rotor-drive system, rotating swivel spring and infinitely adjustable cam, are aligned to create a more direct transfer of energy that optimizes the stroke for more power and precision. The patented 9000 series free-floating rotor drive system allows the shaft to turn independently of the rotor directing energy from the pedal board straight to the beater.
9000 Series Bass Drum Pedals include a Nylon Strap and can be easily converted from Chain-Drive to Nylon Strap.
The design also uses friction-reducing ball bearings to optimize the already incredibly smooth, gravity-defying action. The patented floating swivel spring increases efficiency on the down stroke and return stroke, creating less resistance and an incredibly smooth feel.

I bought this pedal based on many professional drummer reviews. I never thought it would actually improve my bass drum playing as well as my OVER ALL playing. Once you get familiar with all the adjustment you will find the pedal becomes an extension of your brain. It feels as if your thoughts transfer from your brain, through your foot directly onto the pedal. Simply amazing! I'm play patterns that were difficult with my refurbished 1975 Ludwig speed king which I always thought was the best pedal out there to date. My only regret is I did not buy it sooner. You will not be disappointed, just spend a couple of hours playing around with the adjustments and your playing will improve as well.
Musical Background:
I've been playing on and off for about 20 years and I am playing in my church worship band.
Musical Style:
I now only play christian music.
