The DM950USB is an affordable 2-channel mixer with 2 USB audio ports built into the mixer. USB technology allows audio files to be transferred to and from your computer. Mix your computers music files with vinyl, CD, DVD or a microphone. Incorporate MP3, WMA, WAV, and other digital music files in the mix from any USB-equipped PC or Mac. Two USB ports are included so you can take advantage of the multiple sound card feature found in most DJ mixing software. Record your mix at the same time as you play back. The DM950USB from Numark is the perfect way to easily get into the modern world of computer music while still using a traditional mixing platform.

"fun cheap toy."
Sound: using the USB functions, and playinf with Traktor, there is noticable "noise" in the AD-DA converters. if the bitrate is low on an MP3 file, it is almost unplayable. Feature: bought it to integrate 2 turntables and a laptopset-up. it does the job, but now I'm looking for a better audio interface, and just use a better quality 4 channel mixer. the eq's are pretty average. no mid's... the crossfader is ok, but not anything special. Ease of Use: straight forward. BIG PROBLEM... there's no meters! how are you suposed to know how much gain to use? this is a problem. also the volume difference between Line and phono and usb inputs is HUGE. not the smoothest mixes. Quality: it's been on the road with me from Costa Rica to Mexico to Hawaii, it si metal and built pretty tough, however, like I said, the D-A converters are noisy, so maybe that is due to bouncing around. Value: it frikin' cheap. just as a back-up mixer it's cheap, let alone the USB capabilities. Manufacturer Support: n-a The Wow Factor: cool little mixer, but more toy than pro, unfortunately. I'm gonna check out the new Berringher USB deck for $150. Overall: does the job, just don't get your hopes up on pristine sound quality.
