Using similar technology to the TSL100 and TSL122, the latest additions to the JCM2000 Series are the 60 Watt TSL60 head, TSL601 1x12 combo and TSL602 2x12 combo. With 3 channels giving every bit as much flexibility as their higher powered brethren, the TSL60s use a pair of Svetlana EL34 power valves for that classic pure Marshall valve tone.

The TSL60 Series amps all have three channels: Clean, Crunch, and Lead. The Clean channel has controls for Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass. The Crunch and Lead channels feature individual Volume and Gain controls, with shared Treble, Middle, and Bass tone controls. The Tone Shift switch on the Crunch/Lead channels reconfigures the way the all important middle control works and the overall Deep switch adds masses of extra push at the low end.

The addition of separate Reverb controls for the Clean or Crunch/Lead channels and an overall FX Loop with Level and Mix controls, that are also on/off footswitchable means that the TSL not only gives more, but also allows the player to use the facilities in a live situation to an extent only dreamed of before. The TSL60s also feature a built-in speaker emulated DI circuit for recording or direct to the PA situations. The supplied 5-way footswitch provides remote switching for the 3 individual channels, plus the effects loop and the reverb. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Marshall products.

"TSL truth, from an owner"

Sound: Great Marshall sounds. The clean channel is clean enough for a rock guitarist, the crunch channel is as good as it gets and the solo channel screams. This amp will ALWAYS cut through the mix live and with a 4x12 extension looks great as well Feature: If only there were separate eqs for crunc and lead, it would be perfect. It has to be said that with sounds this good, ir doesn't matter that much. Ease of Use: You can't get a bad sound from a Marshall. Quality: Perhaps not up to Mesa standards, but a hell of a lot cheaper. I'm not a hairdresser, so the finish is fine for me. Value: As good as many amps costing twice the price and better than some as well Manufacturer Support: Fantastic, have called them a few times and they can answer anything. The Wow Factor: Black and gold, iconic. Overall: There are a few good amps at around the Â£ 1000 mark at the moment, but you always end up trying to get a Marshall sound out of them. This costs a lot less and has a great classic rock sound. It will cover any gig.

"Its just the best thing ever"

Sound: This produces a great rich sound from heavy metal, blues, jazz, rock, and funk. Feature: Clean, Crunch and Lead, what more can you say? Quality: It Looks great and to look over the top and see the valves glow brings a tear to your eye. Value: A bit expensive but worth it. Manufacturer Support: I have had it for a year no faults, so i have never needed to contact the company. The Wow Factor: Its ACE, black and gold. Overall: I feel there is no need to buy anything else.

Style of Music: All Styles, mostly Jazz
