JBL JRX125 PA Cabinet Quasi 3-Way (2x15")

No longer available at zZounds
Get your music across with the JBL JRX125 PA cabinet. Its high-range tweeters and dual 15" drivers accentuate a wide range of sounds.

Techno, Hip-Hop, Disco, Pop. . . no matter what style you spin, club music is all about the groove, and if the sound system you're playing through can't hold down the bottom, party people ain't gonna get off theirs. Not a problem with the JBL JRX125 loudspeakers. Outfitted with not one, but two 15" woofers, these thumpin' boxes churn out loads of club-filling bass, and without having to add a separate sub to your sound system.

Full-Range Coverage

Because it provides full-range frequency coverage in a single box, the 2x15 speaker enclosure is a big hit with DJs, and JBL executes the design better than just about anyone. Quasi 3-way operation is the secret to the JRX125's success; while some 2x15 loudspeakers emphasize the bass at the expense of everything else, the JRX125 uses a different crossover frequency for each woofer. The bottom of the two drivers handles the lowest lows, while the top driver handles both lows and middle frequencies. In this way, the JBL 2x15 is capable of much more definition and articulation; not only will folks be movin', but they'll no doubt be singing along to their favorite tracks now that they'll be able to understand that words! Topped off with a wide dispersion high-range horn, all tonal bases are covered. A pair of JRX125 enclosures will have no trouble filling your venue with throbbing, heavy grooves.

Crazy Power Handling

Long-time practitioners of the live sound reinforcement arts, JBL's name has come to stand for reliable and read more professional products; the JRX125 speakers are no exception. These bad boys handle up to an incredible 2000 watts peak and a maximum SPL of 133 decibels. Oh, you're spinning at a house near the airport? Those jets don't stand a chance of taking attention away from your pounding tracks! Speakon connectors are provided in addition to the standard 1/4" jacks for a reliable connection with superior audio fidelity. The handsome, rug-covered cabinet and metal front grill keep the sensitive speakers safe from even the most rambunctious partygoers.

Don't waste your time with inferior speaker enclosures. If you want to call yourself a professional DJ, you need to show up with professional gear, and only the JBL JRX125 2x15 will do.

JBL JRX125 PA Loudspeaker

The JBL JRX125 is a dual 15 in. speaker system, which has become one of the most popular configurations with DJs and musicians who are looking for more low-frequency performance while maintaining the simplicity of a single-box system. The JRX125 is actually a 'quasi three-way' design. This means that the upper woofer covers lows and mids. The bottom woofer uses a lower crossover frequency and covers only lows, acting as a built-in subwoofer. So you get the extra low-end of a dual 15 in. rig while maintaining the superior mid-frequency performance of a single driver system. Features Neutrik connectors.

Very happy customer. Have had them for almost 1.5 years. Perfect sound. Done about 15 dance parties with them. Played them loud for 5-6 hours at a stretch and not one distortion or hum or any crackling noise. Just clear, crisp sound. These are awesome! I love them! DJ AK-47, Hartford, CT.
Sound
These speakers have very clean and crisp sound. I am a mobile DJ and these rock every party I've done. Very clear mids and highs. The Bass is adequate as well.
Features
No accessories included, don't need any either.
Ease of Use
Easy to use. Speakon connection. Also one 1/4'' connection.
Quality
Very professional quality. Nice carpet and the speakers are heavy!! Quality construction. The metal grille is very nice.
Value
For $400 for each, they are a steal. I know people who have one 15" woofer speaker for this much and these have two 15" woofer and can handle more power as well.
Manufacturer Support
Excellent support. Called JBL about amplifier power and they told me these speakers can handle upto 1000 watts no problem all night long.
The Wow Factor
Excellent buy for a DJ or a musician or a club owner. These things are versatile. A little heavy to lug around though, but I love them! I wish they had wheels so I can roll them around the dance floor, instead of lifting them.
