The Gemini GSM1580 DJ PA speaker cabinet delivers full range impact with a 15 in. woofer, a 17 x 5 in. horn, and four 3 in. tweeters. The GSM1580 is rated at for 175 Watts of power (8 ohms) and provides 32Hz - 20kHz frequency response. Sound: With four tweeters the high end is accentuated- oftentimes I've turned down the treble to compensate for this. Otherwise this puts out impressive quality for its price. Feature: This is a three-way speaker in a world of two-ways. Four tweeters are nice. Big horn. Big woofer. Yummy. Quality: A trapezoidal cabinet would have been better, as the weight leans forward a bit. The grill is high quality and it has protective corners. Handles are plastic but sturdy. Carpet is great. My cat has tried to use these things as a scratching post but it's all on there. I think eventually I will screw on a mounting post for a stand. Value: VERY good deal. If you're on a budget and need good PA, I strongly recommend these. They are pretty much the best entry-level 15" PA speakers, and a good alternative if you want some added bass from some 12"s. Manufacturer Support: - The Wow Factor: This is a very good looking speaker. It looks big and intimidating. You'll get the women with this speaker. But who needs women when you've got two of these? Haha-

"GSM 1580 Speakers DJ review."

Sound: I'm using a Tapco J1400 amplifier which pushed out 310w per channel. Which is perfect because these speakers can handle 350w max. The highs on the speakers are very HIGH i suggest getting an eq to lower the highs. The mids sound just right, the only disappointment are the 15" subs. It has so so bass, but more mids coming out of the sub than bass. Feature: Is PA speakers, what features do u expect from speakers ? Ease of Use: No speakon input. No mount hole for speaker stands. Quality: Nice carpet, these speakers look very well built, Very light weight. Value: Paid 249.00 Shipped. I like the price Manufacturer Support: I've called Gemini about other concerns and they were more than happy to help me out. The Wow Factor: If you want more BASS look for something else, but if you like high highs and good mids go for it. Overall: These are nice speakers, dont let the 175 watts fool u, if you have a nice amp they can handle 350 watts. I've used them for 2 gigs already and alot of people said I Need more BASS. So i'm getting a separate subwoofer and another amp to take care of that. Other than the dissapointment of bass, these are a good buy.
