About This Product!
Description
The PM-PRO-DM is a 20-amp professional power conditioner with a digital volt/current meter.

If you own digital equipment, you've probably had an AC noise problem or two. With the increasing number of switching power supplies and digital "everything" in studios & racks these days, AC noise has become a far greater problem than ever for musicians & engineers. With this in mind, Furman has developed the Metered Six Series with digital AC outlets that provide advanced noise-killing filters for digital equipment. There are 6 models in the line. Three are 15-amp enhanced power conditioners that can handle a one-time 6,500-amp power surge: the PL-PLUSD, PL-PLUSDM, and PM-8DM; and three are 20-amp professional power conditioners rated for power surges up to 11,000 amps: PL-PROD, PL-PRODM and PM-PRODM. Their advanced voltage metering (and even AC current metering on 4 models) is extremely accurate. The front panels are made of black anodized aluminum and their rustproof chromate steel chassis provides positive ground connection. Step up to Furman quality and lose the noise in your system.

20-Amp Circuits
The PL-PRO (as well as the PM-PRO, PS-PRO, PowerPort, MiniPort, AR-1220, and IT-1220) is designed to work on newer 20-amp circuits, so it uses a power plug with the perpendicular blades that only fit in 20-amp receptacles. If you intend to use your PL-PRO with equipment drawing more than 15 amps total, you must use the 20-amp plug in a 20-amp circuit. However, in cases where total current draw through the PL-PRO is 15 amps or less, you may plug it into a standard 15 amp outlet using an adapter cord available from Furman Sound. This may be necessary in older venues. However, since we assume you purchased the PRO in part for its 20-amp capacity, be sure that your current draw is reduced or you likely will trip the circuit breaker (or blow the fuse) on the circuit you plugged into.
