New for 2004, Crate introduces an entirely new range of acoustic amplifiers. The technology in the new Crate acoustic series is unique, with preamp circuits you can tailor for piezo or active systems. Their new feedback elimination circuits are efficient and simple to use. They even include the ability to automatically eliminate feedback at two different frequencies. Crate uses special studio monitor-style speakers with polypropylene cones and rubber surrounds in ported cabinets for tight, even bass response. Every CA amp has a high frequency component for crisp, clear highs. The CA6110DG model includes special features for live performance like XLR & 1/4 in. balanced line out with level control which does not affect your stage volume. It also has ground lift on the line out, tweeter level control, effects loop and a two button footswitch for internal reverb/effects and chorus switching. " Great Stuff !!!"

I own a CA-60D and play a Seagull guitar. They both are great products. When you combine the two the results are KILLER. The features on the amp let you create your own acoustic sound, sometimes making your 6 string sound like a 12 string. Inch for inch/pound for pound you can not beat the value or craftmanship of either one.

"A PIECE WORTH THE MONEY"

Feature:
It comes with a foot switch, for reverb, and chorus

Quality:
solid as a rock, but its hard to see the controls in a dark area

Value:
Good bang for the buck, the only other amp that is a better value is a ultrasonic

Desirability:
It is a good design, I wish the controls were easier to see, and Crate should include a cover for this amp

Sound:
This is a great sounding acoustic amp, very crisp and clear. The chorus and reverb match the amp pretty well, however I have had trouble with feedback in small venues. I play an Ovation Elite, and a Takamine -EG330-C, and they both sound wonderful through this amp, This amp does have some hiss to it at high volume, and it is heavy. If I had to buy again, it would be this, or a ultrasonic

Support:
I have not needed the company, but I have friends that have, and they say that Crate is good to deal with

Overall:
Overall, this is a great piece, I would buy it again, it is real heavy, too heavy for us old folks. Controls are tuff to see, it does have some hiss to it, and Crate needs to offer a cover for it. The Ultasonic amps are about the only amps that I know of that would be as good or better value
